Lavender and blush are two of the most popular wedding colors right now. They both have a softness about them, but can also be quite elegant. If you're thinking of using either of these colors for your wedding, you'll love this modern wedding at the Distillery! From the invitations to the flowers to the decorations, everything was perfectly coordinated. If you're looking for some ideas for your own lavender or blush wedding, take a look at this post for inspiration.

The Ceremony
The wedding arch was a gorgeous sight to behold with its lavender and pink flowers. The greenery in front made it even more picturesque, as if one were viewing an old painting come alive! Posh Posy Designs love to create the most stunning floral designs. Their goal is to bring romance and beauty like non other, truly turning your ideas into reality. The chandeliers at the Distillery are one of my favorite aspects of this space. Both the interior and exterior boasts the ever growing in popularity shaker styled board and batten trim. The windows re-affirm this statement with its windows having angular geometric shapes.

The Details
Blissful Muse Co designed a natural and camera ready hair style. The bride’s hair looked truly effortless without sacrificing design or comfort. The slight curl at the bottom made it even more romantic and feminine. The editorial smokey eye applied by Dark Hearts Makeup truly made the bride the star of the show. Molly from the White of Raleigh hand picked this gown from the designer Hera Couture. Her simple yet elegant dress gave the perfect balance of formality and comfort. The shoulderless design made it easy for her to move around easily, while still being able to show off every inch in front view. Thanks to the slit up the side, the dress provides some built in air conditioning when you need to cool or want an unforgettable scandalous ankle action on your wedding day!
Dark Heart Make Up sums this perfectly from this profound quote on their website:
“Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.”
-Khalil Gibran

The Reception
Sentiments are the key to any celebration and this one was no different. Sugar Euphoria really outdid themselves with the individual white dessert cakes were a-topped with small floral stems. The lavender candles give off that perfect mood for an intimate dinner party, while accent blooms in short compote bowls added some color on top of their simplicity. Gold utensils matched perfectly against textured tablecloths which created depth overall by including different textures throughout all parts - something you won't see every day!

Outdoor Gathering
Continuing on the attention with deserts, the main attraction was the full wedding cake provided by Sugar Euphoria. They love to celebrate all joyous occasions with confectionary goodness. Each dessert begins with natural locally-sourced ingredients and ends with a beautiful aesthetic that you can clearly see featured here! The seating arrangement featured white lawn bench and chairs along with accented color pillow that brought everything together with their subtle texture and unique design.
