The Overlook Barn is a North Carolina Destination Wedding venue located in Western North Carolina. The exterior is adorned with white paint while the interior boasts high vaulted ceilings. The walls are stone and with an overall natural color which is perfect to incorporate any color theme you’d like.
Noteworthy Features
What’s fantastic about this venue is that the two owners actually renovated the barn with the intention of using it for their wedding. It’s been serving couple that love nature far and wide.
Overlook Barn
The main barn of the property. It boasts around 6,500 square feet of space.
Cliffside Barn
The Cliffside Barn has about 1,000 sf of space along with a 750 sf deck that wraps about ½ of the barn.
Mary’s Meadow
This is the main ceremony location. It’s especially perfect for those summer weddings because the sunset hits the mountains perfectly.

Mary’s meadow is considered the main ceremony location. The backdrop of the Appalachian mountains perfectly frames you as you guys say I do. If you need a covered area, then the Cliffside Barn serves as your rainday choice.
Reception
The main Overlook Barn has the capacity for to 250 guests for a seated dinner. For a standing cocktail type reception this are can house around 300 people. The Cliffside barn is much smaller and has one of my person favorite things…glass garage doors. Those garage door open out onto the deck where you get a different vantage point of the rolling blue hills in the background.
